VICTORIAN WIRED

Chicken wire sprayed a favorite color and wrapped around a small cylinder jar makes a delightful vase. Add a small ribbon around the top and tie it into a bow. This will add a soft touch.
    Materials Needed:

    A small jar (mine is an olive jar, but you can find in trash or recycle bin)
    Spray paint (find in craft store)
    Thin ribbon (1/4'")
    Chicken wire (find in hardware store)

    Here's how:
    Spray paint the chicken wire; let dry
    Conform the chicken wire around the jar leaving additional wire at the top and bottom edge.
    Turn these edges out for a scalloped design.
    Weave the thin ribbon in and out through the top edge of the wire.
